Now, I understand and can see how this title "Beauty of Love" can sound corny and i guess it is. But what happened a few weeks ago now was just mind blowing and so precious.
By now I am assuming you know who my horse is, Sawyer. He will be two in april..... thats another story (stay on topic Brier). Sawyer and the puppy on property (who is approx 6-8 months of age) play together all of the time and are quite close friends, almost to a fault because the puppy thinks that is how he can interact with all horses. Needless to say the puppy got hurt. He was laying behind Sawyers back legs and in a spooky moment Sawyer stepped on the tip of the puppies toes. There was a bunch of yelping and crying and Sawyer was all confused as to what the heck just happened. Then, my mother and I witnessed something truely beautiful. The head horse in Sawyer's paddock and I swear is a horse Shaman came over to the puppy and tried to lick the blood off of his toes. The puppy was all nervous as I would be so this horse began to lick his belly and slowly lick closer and closer to his little injury, until he was able to calm the puppy and gain his trust enough to tend to the injury. The genuine love from this horse and the puppy was absolutely jaw dropping.
The reason I consider all of this magic is purely because it is all so out of character and there are so few people who would be priviledged enough to encounter such purity.
