The Consequence of Sanity

The definition of sanity is to think and behave in a rational manner! And insanity is to consciously think and behave differently than the crowd and ultimately in a perceivably irrational manner. I choose to release the power insanity holds over me, as I do not think or behave in socially acceptable ways nor will I ever allow myself to be told that my power is to be hushed or ignored. I think and behave in ways that honour what it means to be a woman, what it means to be spiritual and what it means to be free of the expectations that I was somehow born broken, abnormal, wrong, opinionated, too much, and not enough. I strive to break free of the restraints instilled in me and “insanely” defy the modes of domestication and once again be wild, free and me.
